- 2.25 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips (12 oz package)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 375 deg F for 9 to 11 minutes on parchment lined (or ungreased) baking sheet. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes, then remove to wire rack.
